Course FAQs
How do I get started?
You can begin by getting in touch via the website. From there, I’ll send you a short booking form to complete.
Once I’ve reviewed your responses, you’ll be invited to book an initial consultation call. This call is a space to explore what you’re dealing with, explain how the programme works, and make sure the support I offer is the right fit for you.
Is this coaching or therapy?
This work sits between coaching, education, and psychologically informed support.
I draw on evidence-based therapeutic frameworks (such as CBT, ACT, and nervous-system–informed approaches) to help you understand your patterns around food, emotions, and regulation. However, this is not therapy or clinical treatment.
The focus is on:
-
Insight and self-understanding
-
Building regulation and capacity
-
Practical tools you can use in daily life
-
Supporting forward movement rather than processing trauma
If you’re looking for formal therapy, diagnosis, or trauma processing, I can help you think through alternative options.
Can I contact you between sessions?
Yes. All programmes include some level of between-session support, usually via WhatsApp or email, for brief check-ins, reflections, and questions about applying the tools or material. I respond Monday–Friday during working hours, usually within 24–48 business hours. This support works best for short messages rather than long updates and isn’t a replacement for sessions or in-depth emotional processing.
WhatsApp support isn’t monitored continuously and can’t be used for crisis or emergency support; if you’re feeling unsafe or in significant distress, please contact your GP, local crisis services, or emergency services. Between-session support is available for the duration of the 12-week coaching container, with further support available later via booked sessions if needed.
Do I have to commit to both programmes at once?
No. Each programme is complete in its own right. You can purchase both together at a discounted cost.
Do I need to complete the course within 12 weeks?
No. The course content is self-paced and includes 9 core components. Most people take around 8–12 weeks to move through the main material, but you’re encouraged to go at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.
The coaching container runs for 12 weeks, giving you structure and space to engage with the work without pressure. After that, you retain access to the course materials. Optional 1:1 coaching is available afterwards at the standard rate of £75 per hour if you’d like continued support.
What happens after the 12-week container?
You keep access to:
-
The course content
-
The tools and practices
-
The frameworks you’ve learned
There’s no obligation to continue. If you decide later that you’d like further support, additional coaching can be arranged by agreement.
Who This Programme Isn’t For
This programme is designed to support people who want to understand and change their relationship with food, emotions, and self-regulation in a gentle, non-pathologising way. That also means it won’t be the right fit for everyone.
This programme may not be suitable if you:
-
Are currently experiencing active eating disorder behaviours (such as frequent purging, extreme restriction, or medical instability) that require specialist or clinical care
-
Are looking for trauma processing, diagnosis, or psychotherapy, rather than coaching and education
-
Are in a period of acute mental health crisis or need immediate emotional support
-
Want a prescriptive meal plan, rigid rules, or a “fix yourself” approach
-
Are not in a position to engage in reflection, experimentation, or gentle self-inquiry
This work assumes a basic level of stability and capacity so that exploration can be supportive rather than overwhelming.
If you’re unsure whether this is right for you, the initial consultation is there to help clarify that — and if something else would serve you better, I’ll always be honest about that.
What is your refund policy?
Because this work involves reserved time, emotional labour, and a structured support container, refunds aren’t generally offered once your place is confirmed and you’re on the schedule.
That said, I care about people feeling well-supported. If concerns arise, we’ll address them together and look for a constructive way forward.
